Overview

Each class has its own suitable planet, but the Water Mage is an exception. Before fully equipped, the Water Mage seemed to be excluded from the Milkyway, as no map was safe for farming. After that, the Water Mage can roam freely across all planets with astonishing magic. The Water Mage combines both damage and support abilities, but its weakness lies in the lack of survivability (armor), and the leveling process at the beginning is extremely painful.

Before Reading

  • The leveling part in this guide may not be the best, as the currently recognized mainstream playstyle is to level up as a Fire Mage before transitioning to a Water Mage.
  • The farming period for a Water Mage is around 200-300 days, and during this period, it is likely to face the impact of patch nerfs and experience reworks.
  • Any Water Mage should possess the ability to use the combat simulator.

  • Before Starting Phase, it's highly recommended to purchase all the equipment listed in the table, except for the Frost StaffFrost staff.svg +10, and equip them when you reach the required levels.

Smelly Planet Minions → Stinky Planet → Swamp Planet → Smelly Planet Elite

※Note: Swamp Planet offers slight profits, while Smelly Planet Elite is a money-losing exchange for experience. Choose based on your preferences.

  • Drinks: Experience Coffee → Magic Coffee (Super Magic Coffee) → Intelligence Coffee (Channeling Coffee) ※Note: Prioritize the coffees in parentheses if financial conditions permit.
  • Foods: Marsberry Cake → Dragon Fruit Yogurt → Dragon Fruit Gummy ※Note: In the early stages, you can purchase a small amount of lower-level food as a transition.

  • Water strike (ability).svg must be placed last to as spell order is from left to right, and Water strike (ability).svgis a 0-CD , so placing it at the front will not spell other abilities.

Farm Stage I (Before Intelligence 90)

  • Build all Level 1 house, upgrade the following buildings to level 2:
    • Restaurant (Stamina)
    • Library (Intelligence)
    • Armory (Defense)
    • Mystical Laboratory (Magic)
    • Experience Necklace, Regen Ring and Earring.
  • After upgrading to the +10 Frost Staff, we will directly enter Goblin Planet to begin our farming journey.
  • Replace Dragon Fruit Gummy with Starfruit Gummy as needed.
  • Do not stop fighting. Food and drinks can be obtained from the market. If insufficient stamina and defense level lead to a high death rate, replace Marsberry Cake with Spaceberry Cake. At this point, please simulate more often, as Spaceberry Cake is expensive. Our goal is to be as financially self-sufficient as possible in combat.
  • Simulate which ability combination suits you best.

Farm Stage II (After Intelligence 90)

  • After acquiring 4th ability slot, equip with Heal (ability).svg, and start consuming some ability books. Depending on your situation, raise the abilities to level 30-40, other than aura.
  • Using Channeling Coffee may cause out of mana. You can appropriately increase the trigger for the two AOE abilityFrost surge (ability).svgMana spring (ability).svg.
  • Simulate which ability combination suits you best.

Farm Stage III (After Magic 100)

From this point onward, you will need to make a choice between experience and gold.

Once your abilities reach level 30, you will have a decent income on Goblin Planet (3-5m/day). You can choose to stay on Goblin Planet for farming, or you can focus on improving yourself by moving to Planet of the eyes to gain even higher experience.

  • Please continue simulating. Once the death rate decreases, replace Spaceberry Cake with Marsberry Cake as soon as possible to ensure daily gold income.
  • Hang in there, don't stop fighting—the dawn is coming soon!

Dawn Stage (After Combat Level 105)

After over a month of intense battles, we have finally established a solid level on Planet of the eyes. At this point, we need to start making new decisions.

On Planet of the eyes, we already have a profit of 5m/day, but to grow stronger, we need to move to the next battleground—Bear Planet. Even with 1-1.5 deaths, Bear Bear Planet still offers a considerable income, and the experience gained here is relatively high. This will be our long-term base, where we need to stay for 2-3 months.

  • During Bear Planet, we can gradually start replacing our equipment.

  • Royal water robe top.svg+5 and Royal water robe bottoms.svg+5 provide a significant boost and have excellent cost-effectiveness. They can also be sold at the original price later when replaced.
  • The Magicians hat.svg won't offer significant improvement for us for a long time, as Water Mages face severe mana shortages from the early stages to this point. Additionally, the armor provided by the Fluffy red hat.svg+5 is crucial for Water Mages. However, Magicians hat.svg+10 is cheaper compared to other +10 T95 equipment. Once we have enough money, it’s recommended to directly upgrade to +10.
  • The improvement from the Bishops codex.svg+10 is very limited. From a cost-effectiveness perspective, it's better to focus on using ability books first and purchasing it later.

Supreme Over the Laws (Combat Level 125+)

  • Go Enchanted Fortress and obtainEnchanted cloak.svg
  • Party with other Water Mage and Nature Mage in Golem Cave (Elite) or Infernal Abyss (Elite).

To become a BIG Water Mage, you need the following checklist:

  1. Abilities other than the aura at level 60 or above
  2. Mystical Laboratory level 6 or above
  3. +5 Guzzling PouchGuzzling pouch.svg
  4. +3 or +5 Enchanted cloak.svg
  5. Combat level 125

After that, you can achieve 180+ EPH in Golem Cave (Elite), you will have at least 50M/day in income and a considerable amount of experience.
