Class Overview
The Nature Mage(as a DPS, or as a Healer) is the most complex class in Milkyway Idle with flexible setups. Despite having the smallest player population, it is in the highest demand for dungeon parties, as every team waiting on a healer. After several buffs, the healer has finally ascended to the S-tier in the current version.
Leveling Guide
Before starting combat, it is highly recommended to first read the Milkyway Idle Beginner’s Guide, and reach a total level of 750 with some funds.
Although you can level your Magic level from the beginning as a Nature Mage, its efficiency is far slower compared to Fire Mage. It’s recommended to level up using Fire Mage first (Before Magic level 110). Additionally, you’ll need some initial funds, which can be earned through other skills like Foraging or Brewing, allowing you afford a Jackalope Staff at level 85. (
is the only main-hand weapon in the game with a healing amplify)
If you insist to play as Nature Mage at the beginning, here is some tips after 750 total levels:
- Start with Cotton Mage Set, Wooden Nature Staff
(leave offhand empty), Giant Pouch
, and learn ablity: Entangles
- When Magic reaches Level 15, purchase and equip Toxic Pollen
- When Magic reaches Level 35, buy Tome of healing
+5, the Bamboo Set, and the Purplewood Nature Staff
. Equip them to start farming Smelly Planet
.
- When Magic reaches Level 55, purchase Silk set, a staff matching your level, and the Nature's Veil
.
- When Magic reaches Level 70, purchase the Luna robe sets
(either +0 or +5) and upgrade your staff.
- When Magic reaches Level 80, buy a Arcane nature staff
.
- Once Magic reaches Level 85, buy a Jackalope Staff
+7 at least (If you dont have enough money, go Brewing/Cooking/Alchemy to make money)
Becoming an entry-level Nature Mage
What you should have in this level(recommended requirement):
I recommend solo farming on Jungle Planet, as it drops a large number of Nature Mage ability books. Of course, if you have friends willing to take you to higher-level maps, teaming up is also an option.
Becoming a Real Nature Mage
Once you have a stable financial foundation, prioritize purchasing the following in order:
The Royal nature robe sets for Nature Mage are not recommended early on, as their survivability is inferior to the Luna robe sets. Consider purchasing them only if your Stamina Level over 120, though they are not on high priority.
It is highly recommended to use a combat simulator to test the optimal setup. Below are some personal experiences for reference.
