Intro

Loadouts allow players to quickly swap between pre-configured sets of equipment, tools, and items. They are designed to save time and improve efficiency when tackling different skill, or playstyles.

What Are Loadouts?

A loadout is a customizable setup that lets you assign specific gear and items to a dedicated slot. Instead of manually equipping or unequipping items for every situation, you can switch between loadouts with a single action, making it easier to adapt to whatever the game throws at you.

Starting Out

Every player begins with two loadout slots, providing the flexibility to experiment with different combinations. For example, one loadout might focus on combat with high-damage weapons, while another might emphasize crafting or resource gathering with specialized tools.

As your journey into the Milky Way Universe expands you might require more loadouts - if so these are available in the Cowbell Store.

How to create a loadout

  • From the side menu go to My Stuff and then the equipment tab.
  • Equip the items, tools, abilities and food you want part of the loadout.
  • Navigate to the Loadouts tab and click Create Loadout - this will import your current equipped items to the loadout.
  • From here, you can click the loadout from the list, where you can rename or delete it.

Note: Loadouts highlighted in red indicate that certain items are unavailable, such as food or coffee. The red highlight will also appear if a piece of equipment is missing, for instance, if it was sold. Additionally, if the enhancement level of an equipment item differs from what is in your inventory, it will be marked as missing. Be sure to update your loadout accordingly.
