Fight monsters for coins and drops!

Experience gained from Combat is significantly higher than that from processing and production skills. If you and your friends want to climb the guild rankings, combat will be your best choice of earning guild experience.

Based on their primary attributes, combat professions are divided into melee with subdivision of (Sword/Spear/Mace/Bulwark), ranged (Bow/Crossbow), and magic (Nature/Water/Fire).

Depending on the planets you’re grinding, the hourly experience and drops gained for the same profession can vary greatly. See Monsters for info. Because melee benefit from an extra experience factor, the Overall experience gain for the three professions is approximately: melee > magic > ranged, while combat level gain is roughly: magic > ranged = melee.

This guide aims to provide various details on combat to help players improve their combat skills. While it is beneficial to gain levels in all the combat subskills, it is advised for new players to focus on one style to enter end game as soon as possible.

Skills

There are seven subskills within Combat, each contributing to your total Combat Level, and each providing you with different bonuses. The experience you gain from combat is applied after each wave is cleared.

Stamina: Increases max HP by 10 per level. You gain experience mainly from taking damage and slightly from avoiding damage. Can be additionally improved by Coffee.

Intelligence: Increases max MP by 10 per level. You gain experience when consuming mana while using Abilities. Intelligence level determines which and how many abilities you can take into battle. Can be additionally improved by Coffee.

Attack: Increases your melee accuracy and base attack speed. You gain experience when dealing melee damage, with more experience gained from Stab and less from Smash. Attack can be additionally increased by Coffee, and melee accuracy and attack speed can be improved by Equipment.

Power: Increases your melee damage. You gain experience when dealing melee damage, with more experience gained from Smash and less from Stab. Power can be additionally increased by Coffee, and melee damage can be improved by Equipment.

Defense: Increases your evasion, armor, and elemental resistances. You gain experience when dodging or mitigating damage. Defense can be additionally increased by Coffee, and evasion, armor, and elemental resistance can be improved by Armor.

Ranged: Increases your ranged accuracy, ranged damage, and magic evasion. Ranged attacks can critical strike. You gain experience when dealing ranged damage. Ranged can be additionally increased by Coffee, and ranged accuracy and damage and magic evasion can be improved by Armor and Equipment.

Magic: Increases your magic accuracy, magic damage, and elemental resistances. You gain experience when dealing magic damage. Magic can be additionally increased by Coffee, and magic accuracy and damage and elemental resistances can be improved by Armor and Equipment.

Combat Styles

Combat style is determined by the kind of weapon you're using. Different styles will change the amount and type of skill experience gained per battle, and may be more or less effective against different types of Monster. Attacks fall into four different types: Physical, Water, Nature, or Fire.

Formulas

Your total combat level can be calculated by:

Combat Level = 0.2 * (Stamina + Intelligence + Defense) + 0.4 * MAX(0.5 * (Attack + Power), Ranged, Magic), where MAX is the maximum function (the highest number in the range).

Dining Room

The Dining Room is a House room that gives the player Stamina buffs, as well as global buffs.

Each Level increases the level of Stamina by 1 level, and increases HP regen by 0.03%.

Buffs stamina level by 1, Increases HP regeneration by 0.03%, Increases experience gained by 0.05%, Increases drop rate of meteorite caches, artisan's crates, and treasure chests by 0.2%

Each Level increases the level of Intelligence by 1 level, and increases MP regen by 0.03%.

Dojo

The Dojo is a House room that gives the player Attack buffs, as well as global buffs.

Each Level increases the level of Attack by 1 level, and increases attack speed by 0.5%.
